Un récit émouvant inspiré du célèbre roman de Jack London. Ryann, une petite fille de 9 ans, passe les vacances chez son grand-père dans le Montana. Un jour, un loup blessé se présente devant la maison. Après l'avoir soigné et s'être attachée à lui, Ryann désire le garder comme animal de compagnie. Son grand-père lui explique alors que son ami appartient au monde sauvage.
